2009
The development of PoolParty Semantic Suite revolutionized knowledge management
2013
PoolParty won its first ten Fortune 500 customers.
2018
PoolParty married symbolic AI with machine learning to invent Semantic AI, which brought corporate search and recommendation to the next level.
2020
The rise of sustainability topics was reflected in PoolParty’s first customers in the field: Green Climate Fund, CABI and International Finance Corporation.
2022
The ESG division of Semantic Web Company was fouded.
2023
After months of learning and researching about ESG data and knowledge management, the development of the Recomentor product began.
2024
Our company merges with longtime partner Ontotext to form Graphwise: the most comprehensive Graph AI solution on the market. These merged technologies help enable the high performance of Recomentor.
2024
Recomentor and all its associated product branches are launched publicly for companies, consultants, and investors.
2025
The planned release of Recomentor product updates and new features (February).

Why did a Semantic AI company based in Austria decide to create Recomentor?
While we are seeing the first successes of the global efforts towards mitigating climate change, we know that there is still a long way to go. How can we keep our planet intact for future generations and at the same time maintain prosperity, growth and social peace? We want to contribute to this with what we do best: software solutions.
We provide technology for those who need strategic, technical, and operational support in the daily struggle for practical solutions. Recomentor was designed to help companies, investors, consultants, and regulators deal with the complex data that the ESG space accumulates.
How did the Recomentor product stack come together?
Once our team saw a need for better ESG data management, several people came together with bright ideas and discussions to nurture this new project. Some took diploma courses in ESG, others attended conferences to learn more, others spoke with ESG consultants to understand what their clients’ biggest pain points were, and others began the planning of the product.
After over a year of learning and creating between all these experts, Recomentor was born.
